Polo Bikes MCR Flava

Couldn't find a thread to document our existing and project polo bikes, so this is it... feel free to post/discuss yours here...

My first bike was based around a Decathlon/BTwin Nexus shopper - didn't have a clue what I was doing as I hadn't even played polo at the time (although seen some matches in the Shoreditch/Brick Lane area). Seems okay, maybe a bit slow to turn. Once I'd realised how much the wheels took a beating and upgraded to some deep section rims, it's been a reliable tool.

Ideally, I'd like to try and build a 20" rear/26" front, when I find the right frame. At the moment though, I'm working on an 1991 MTB Marin, just got it track-ended at GBH and have some deep section rims with an On-One flip flop hub - planning to try this fixed malarkey with some SPDs. Good job I have invested in some shin and elbow guards methinks....

Ha - Rufus has moved on a bike to his lime green/black bigger wheeler called 'The Lizard' - even his mallet is coordinated now...
