Have you seen the aero tests on bottle cage placement? Turns out that a: you can't guess which is best by intuition and b: behind the saddle is actually quite bad for aerodynamics, as well as being an ergonomic disaster.

An aerodynamic housing which releases the bottle from the rear would most likely be the most aerodynamic way to keep a bottle. Of course you could just start attaching fairing to your bike.

unless the brake pad juice is gonna run off the pads and jump around to the outside of the fork legs, no. :)

Ha...i love how everyone is getting so hung up on the aerodynamics of my bottle placement on a bike which is clearly intended for just plodding along and churning out the miles at a more sedate pace. :)

it really isn't exactly a looker when it comes to comparing with other headsets and looks horrible with vintage/skinny tubing. But fair enough, they look great on carbon/ti where they belong amongst the thick fork blades and bulging curves.

But as far as headsets are concerned; I've seen better.

kiddin? this is gadget porn. It's either none (like a track bike), or as many wires as possible if you do use them. I'd just spend time thinking of useless gadgets to stick on that thing. Maybe toad radars to beep when one jumps on to the road, a rain sensor, pothole spotters, rear view lcd screen and a solar generator to power all of it.

Ah it's not the worse looking build frankly, the worse of that Brooklyn is simply the fork.

i think it suits the frame, but i'm not really a fan of brooklyns anyway.

2009-07-11 Sat - Emma Memorial ride
In memory of another life tragically taken from us on the roads of London, there will be a memorial ride on this date where we will visit the spot where Emma passed away, I have spoken to Riccardo, and he will be writing a small piece about Emma and her Life which will be recited at the Stone Circle (the usual critical mass starting point). Beginning at 6pm, we will start/finish at this point taking in sections of Central and West London to hopefully offer a very visible presence, and give Emma a worthy send off from her fellow cyclists. I'll be planning the route over the next week, but help with printing/laminating of spoke cards for this would be much appreciated. Tell your friends, tell your colleagues, tell your loved ones, tell everyone, see you there.

Update:

Start at the stone circle (southbank) 6pm
Route through central London including accident spot in Holborn
Finish at stone circle approximately 8-8:30pm
