Lets just say I like it (really I'd pay money for it), and you dont. As someone who still thinks splash pattern bar tape is cool, I'm aware good taste may not be my strongest feature :)

I just cant cant cope with scrolling past that black and yellow freak bike, to check, anymore.

as for the BMW, honestly I really can't see what exactly wrong with it, I don't like how it look but it's hardly anti, I seen worse on the street of London.

Just because you have seen worse doesn't make it non anti. I like the frameset and would defend the Brooklyn but it does provide evidence that a nice frameset is not enough!

Rock Racing "Fixie"

"Just as BMX’s transformed cycling, fixies are going to be the next big alternative sport. They are making cycling fashionable with a whole new urban crowd and Rock Racing is excited to help fuel this growing trend." -Michael Ball

"...Michael Ball has partnered with Louis Garneau and is producing a line of Rock Racing branded clothing and equipment. Included in the line is a carbon flatbar track bike called "Project 4815". According to the RockRacing twitter, "The Project 4815 carbon commuter bike is a tribute to Michael Ball's favorite gear cluster".

Before being Anti-Porn, I think it is already Anti-Design. It´s fucking pointless, adds nothing to the universe of commuting, if you can call this project a commuter. Big notes for a carbon flatbar track bike. Give me a fucking break. It could be a epic fail.
(I actually love LG frames... but this is too much effort for nothing)

hang on, it look like it have the same design fault as the LEADER, look at the amount of space left between the seat tube and the wheel.

what I do like about it, is the lack of bridge on the rear triangle, just like the BMW Gangsta.

tyres look like 19mm, and they may be flat! although you are right, the axle is all the way up the ends .. it should be tighter, really. i haven't seen the leader so i'm not sure.

Whether or not you read the post, the bike´s being launched as part of a brand (marketing) campaign, putting fixed gear riding as something fashionable and appealing; (there´s a logo)

By being associated to a name like LG one would expect something to look at...
that shit hurts, in every bit possible. It´s were you see it all wrong, like Cinelli coming up with Fluor/Neon x BLB collabos. It´s miseducating public. Maybe some bits changed and it could be better, but the bike is meant to represent an appealing option of commuting. There it fails, imo, BIG TIME.

The leader doesn't have enough space, this one has too much space. You can fist that clearance... Leader clearance thing is fixed in the 2010 model btw

Could have probably got away with a seat tube without the cutout! Why have a cutout when the tyre wouldn't even touch the seat tube anyway?

its not overkill for what the frame was developed for
it may be overkill for you to ride round with a pair of risers and an arrospok on

I used to have a proflex 856 (^^ that is not an 856!) - they were perhaps a bit flexy after a bit of wear, but at the time they were pretty top suspensions frames - Henrik Djernis used to win everything XC related on them.

I have their team jerseys and shorts for distance rides- the black/red ones and the white.

Why? cos it cost me £27 quid for each jersey and short set, and the shorts are super comfy, plus they look a hell of alo better than HTC or Astana strips

I really like the Project 4815. A new look at graphics and the seat cluster/rear stays are great.

A little too much clearance by the front wheel, but new bars and stem and it'll look hot.

Doesn't change the geometry, but I think it's designed as a soft-tail (along with the bowed fork providing front suspension) and the adjustment would modify the spring rate.
