| | I enjoyed that immensely today. Loved the 200m sprints, felt much better in the team pursuit this week, and I appreciated the awareness/positioning exercises as someone who's a bit nervous in the bunch at times, particularly early season. Thanks again for a great session. |

| | I did feel better on my 140mm, particularly at higher cadences. Wondered if it was too much at first, but no different to last week really - just adapting to the 'aggressive' track position. I'm keeping my 130mm though, as I think I like being set-up a little shorter during the winter on the rollers. |

| | I get you S. I have a slightly longer stem on the way, as I'd shortened by 10mm and dropped the height by 10mm when riding rollers in winter. reckon I could stretch a little but stay down. Bike didn't feel as solid out the saddle but the light gear probably contributed to that |

| | I did my first session at HH yesterday; totally hooked, got a bit hot headed and went off the front of the novice training group and really enjoyed killing myself with a couple of faster riders. My question is; should I come to intermediates next week having just basic track skills but probably being fast enough....how tough is that group? |

| | Hey, Nick, isn't it? You were hammering it last week! I'm in the same boat, first time last week and I'd like to move up to intermediates, but I'll probably stick with beginners for a few sessions. What's the best way to learn the ropes? Should we explain we'd like to gain the experience to move up, and start quizzing the instructors? The beginners last week was fairly basic in terms of tactics/etiquette. |

Its not really about what you know, its about practise and technique. I know exactly how to do a corked 540, but I can't do one. You just need to ride, watch what people are doing, and get very used to riding round the track until looking, moving, changing, holding your line etc become second nature. You will get a feel for it. | |

| | Good one again today. 10.30am start, 1pm finish, due to damp track and no wind till about 11. Legs were a bit heavy due to some deadlifting on Thursday, and adjusting to 3 more gear inches, but managed to stick with it. The skills thing was good - nervous as fuck for a few laps, but happily spending half a lap like Siamese twins joined at the shoulder by the end (one short twin and one tall one). Skinsuit fitting in the gents was a joy :/ |

| | usual HH stuff - you wake up and see water on the ground outside but a few hours later you're spinning round the track. first time out this year but quickly got back into it; most worried about the little bits of grit spraying up from the wheel in front. very dirty innit? |
