Charge Plug Grinder 09 vs 10

Was hoping to pick one of these up, checked evans and they only have the '09 model in stock at the moment, rang them and they said the '10 models would be in sometime in december.
Looking at the specs it really doesn't seem to be much between them:
2010

2009

Is there any real reason for me to hang on a couple weeks to get the 2010 model? Seems to be just the levers, brakes, and headset that are different...

My advice would be to wait untill the 2010 models are in and then get a 2009 for cheaper.

I was thinking about doing that, thing is I'm currently bikeless and just pissing away money every day on public transport.
I did a google for those parts to see if there was much difference, but most of the references I found online were just about the charge plug bikes anyway.

Good point about the tube. Go and get an 09 one today.

Charg make nice bike. I chap at work has got a grinder and loves it. I would personly go for just a plug but if the grinder is floating you boat then go for it.

It's worth pointing out that the brake levers might not be Tektro R538's. I bought a 2010 freestyler a few weeks back and it came with R358's. I checked with Charge and they said it was a typo on their site. Haven't checked to see if they've updated their site yet actually...

I would go with the 2009 and get it cheaper personally :) You'll probably end up replacing the parts anyway! The levers kinda suck, as do the brake blocks. I replaced the brake blocs with some cheap Clark's pads (£2 a pair from Chain Reaction). Work a lot better, though still a little ropey stopping my hulk of manlyness (read: fat bastard)

Just checked on evans site at some of the other plug models and they have both 09 and 10 in stock but both at the same price, seems a little strange...
