| | What a great weekend! The organisation of the whole event was awesome. Being picked up at the airport (with a crate of beer!). Ferried around all weekend. Games running like clockwork. The awsomest high tech scoreboard. Sweet goals (slightly longer than bike length - the future), nets worked a treat. Shape and boards used for court was great (UK supplier sourced). Only downside was the very slippy tiled surface, but it was a great leveller. Favoured the passing game I guess (although Zombie handled their speedy play well and Mike/Yorgo hardly ever went slamming through the barriers as I expected!). The whole tournament was played in a very good spirit and there were very few contentious issues (partly due to the goal design). The standard of play was superb and a joy to watch. The UK matches were pretty much all the best ones entertainment-wise and we certainly had the most vocal support! On top of all that the hosts/organisers were so friendly/helpful/accommodating we couldn't ask for more - a huge thank you to everyone involved - well done Karlseruhe - you rule!!!! |

The draw against malice was also a great moment, nice to try to play 3 vs 2 +goalie, even if you were winning... like this my teamates can score 2 times in 40 sec, good for the show. Incredible tournament KARLSRUHE, amazing organisation, i pee on myself for our Genevian EHBPC2010... i hope that you could send us some advice and help (or material, like this fantastic goal :D) i will try to put some of games on vimeo-. | | Thanks all for the home-town support! Brian, wished you were there! What can I say? We had a good group of teams to play. We played really well on Saturday and held our own on Sunday. Yorgo was hot, making spot on passes and always on the ball and of course his impressive breaks. Hassan made some spectacular goals and some amazing saves, our player of the tourney. Malice, I know you had fun all the way to the quarters and it showed! Well done BAD, there was some really good polo coming from you guys. Cosmic, lay off the hairspray next time ;) Apples, Coños and Beards all played really well, representing London properly. Roxy played really well with pirate Oli (Berlin) and Holger (Karlsruhe), she made some great saves and was usually in the right position on the court running block/interference and making one goal (at least) off a rebounded shot from Oli. Greifmasters was an AMAZING Tourney!!! Thank you Karlsruhe! Awesome hospitality, awesome organization, awesome everything! The floor was a bit slippy, especially on the first day, but the guys tried their best to sort it out providing wet and dry rags to wipe your tires with, cleaning it every morning and sweeping it between every quarter/semi and final games. Clean and grippy tires and taped mallet heads were necessary. Some people were running tires at low pressures to help. (I had a fyxation on the front and a brand new marathon plus on the rear at normal pressure and only had one real wash-out) The barriers ruled, the size was excellent (bit small but that's my preference) and the netted goals were phenomenal. I don't think I need to say anything about the mega-screen, but it was amazing. Can't wait until Greifmasters 2. |

| | Dear LPC, I am sorry to inform you that I completely failed on the t-shirt mission. My bike bag was overweight, so I had to put some more things in my already-stuffed carry-on bag. I literally didn't have room for a single extra t-shirt. And then I got so hungover on Sunday that I couldn't really think about try to sort something else for the shirts. I threw up three times in between games, and after my final game, I basically had to sleep until we left. I was in such a condition I fucking missed the quarter finals. My apologies. Yours faithfully, C. Norris. |

| | @Hassan: I hope that you like the "Zombie-ninja position" thumbnail. That's a kind of apologize about my lil' shity "you suck" trash talking during our game. Indeed these words ruins my Karma, and few seconds later you score the fuckin 1-0 qualifying goal. @MAtt: Did you find the Anarchy sticker i left on your sleeping body when i left Messe? |

| | ha! nice video. dude no worries at all, trash talk is part of polo, it's all in good fun. and it made scoring that goal even better for the retort! it was a super close, hard fought and fun game to play. - Absolutely fantastic tournament, and weekend all around, from karlsruhe bike polo picking london up at the airport, to all the amazing little details that the greif masters team paid attention to (like the special menus at the Kap bar - ace!). awesome venue, awesome court, awesome goals, awesome screen, the list goes on and includes almost every aspect of the weekend. every game we played was epic and fun, not a single bad vibe throughout. Thanks london for the shouting/cheering/heckling, holger for amazing hospitality, steffen for all his driving, and especially Zombie MY, on fucking fire guys. London bike polo on tour is always an epic thing to be a part of. and most especially, thank you Karlsruhe Bike Polo. you guys fucking rule. Last edited by hassanr; 8th February 2010 at 20:55. |
