700c White wall or Gum Wall Tires

I'm having a bitch of a time trying to find white wall or gum wall tires in 700c x 26, 28, 30. I thought someone on here might have some sitting around for an unfinished project or something they might want to sell?

Alternatively, if you can think of a place to buy them online or elsewhere I would appreciate the info.

Dear God there's a flash-back to my Raleigh Mongoose childhood.
Wish I still had that, I'd take it to polo.

That didn't help in the slightest did it. Sorry!

Panaracer Paselas come in 700x25c and 700x28c. The cheapest I've seen them currently, and this is for the folding version, is www.sdeals.com

+1 on the Panaracer Paselas.

I think you can get these in a few good shops in town, like condor used to sell them, not sure now, online lots of places. Spacycles.co.uk, SJS, loads more.

oooh good tip there from andyp. The rigid ones are quite cheap!

They come in all sorts of sizes (I'm running a pair of 35s on my tourer), but he's right that 25 and 28 are near your requested size.

the deal above is v cheap, I paid twenty quid a piece! Can't fit mine under my sodding crudcatcher guard jobbies which is very annoying.

It was fiddy's tip originally I think. I was looking at lunchtime as I'm in the market for a pair of gum wall tyres suitable for commuting on London's famous London's roads.

PS they do exist in smaller a size, 23... and the older sort of 25 come up very small ... hard to find though. If you fancy some old 25s (look more like a 23 to me) I may be able to point you in the right direction ...

I was going to head down the 25 route. I like comfort when commuting. Fresh Tripe have the 23s for £20 a pop.

Actually, I need to check clearances on the frame first, as 25s might be a squeeze. Forget 35s, way too big. I'd look like a pre-WWII Tour rider!
