Buying Advice: Campy record groupo

someone wants to sell their campag record 9speed groupset along with seat post, headset, hubs and wheels which are also all record. How much is a fair offer? He wants £900 but i dont know if this is a fair price.

go on ebay and search for "completed" listings of that group then take a bit off it.

Or brand new Record 10v for £990

Obviously no wheels etc, but seriously new Veloce 10v will be a better buy than used Record 9v for most people, so unless the second hand set is immaculate that would be the competition. More likely to get the maximum return by selling it separately rather than as a group too.

ive got a feeling he will go for 750 - 800 as he will expect me to bring him down. they do look in good nick and considering he will be throwing in the everything from the bike bar fork, stem, bar and seat, poss worth considering at 750. wheels run true and great but dont know how much 2nd hand record wheels go for. it will be going on a 92 tommasini tecno, so maybe they will suit each other?

Just got all if this off ebay for a 9s build (all record):
- crank - £50
- brakes - £60
- STIs - £90

You can drop the price if you have athena/chorus on RD and STI by about £100.
