2009-11-04 - Rider Down, West Hampstead Station

I came past at 8:25 to find the road closed off, two buses and an HGV stopped inside police barrier, emergency services on the seen.

I dismounted to pass and had a word with a London Underground worker. heresay was that a cyclist went under a C11 bus, no sign of a bike though. If so i hope they aren't hurt too bad.

Can anyone confirm?

Yeah me too, that section is a nightmare in rush hour, loads of peds and vehicles trying to make it through before each of the three sets of lights change. There barriers outside the overground station too. I always try and take an assertive line, but it can be difficult.

Some good news then, lets hope he heals up soon, that also explains the lorry parked up. Just speculation but i'm guessing he was on the right side of the lorry, and the bus was coming the other way hence the speculation.
