| | The one I was using was buggy, laggy, and glitchy, but I've just found beta 13 by Jerl so I'm trying that. I was also having a Gmail issue where it wasn't syncing despite having sync on. However there was no uninstall option for Gmail so didn't seem to be a way of fixing it. |

Jerl Beta 13 is good. I think majority of system data backup on Ti backup from CM7 to CM9 beta was incompatible so ended up doing most of a fresh start apart from a few choice apps and SMS backup but liking it a lot. Battery life also seems to be faring quite well for overclocking from 800 to 1200... | ||

| | GTAIII now 69p. At this price you should buy it if you think you'll ever have a phone that will run it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ongestDayDeals There's other stuff for cheaps, but this is probably the best deal I've seen |

| | Expansys's delivery estimates are... erratic at best. First they said my order would be shipped in 3 days, even though the main website said they wouldn't have stock by then, then the ship date dropped by a day, then it went up by 6 days and now it says it's shipped! I don't think my estimated shipping date ever really matched their ETA for stock. |

| | A bit the opposite direction but does anyone have any suggestions for an Android phone that's very cheap and has a good battery life (for using at festivals and such like). Don't care about features but would prefer Android so I can import in contacts, texts, etc. easily. Cheaper the better. Alternatively, how reliable are the spare batteries from ebay (I have a ZTE Crescent so not the most common of phones over here). Cheers |

| | http://www.reghardware.com/2012/06/2...id_smartphone/ same price as the OSF2, but better speced, and looked like it may well get ICS too :) |

| | My gf has my old HTC Desire, rooted with a Modaco custom ROM. It's running low on space with her choice of apps (I've removed almost everything) and I find it quite slow now compared to my Sensation. What does the hive mind suggest would be a good, budget replacement? I'd prefer Sense but obviously consider vanilla Android or something that will take a custom ROM easily. Obviously it has to beat the Desire in specs so not TOO budget.. |

| | @hippy These are bargains, based on performance and spec, but I haven't checked which are mod-friendly. http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/sim-free-...lue-p31779.htm (this one is older than the others) http://www.expansys.com/lg-optimus-l...-black-230194/ [url]http://www.theorder.co.uk/simfree/offline/deals/Huawei/Honour%20U8860/3732/50[ url] Last edited by GA2G; 27th June 2012 at 14:40. |
