Might hit up both Fallout NV DLCs tonight, feel like getting back into that world

Beat Fable 3 last night. I sort of enjoyed the whole revolution thing, but not nearly enough side quests. Not even close. And I have no idea where the fuck the main enemy came from. That was a sort of "this games too short. I know, let's add this!" type thing.

Fable 3 makes me sad. Full of great ideas, clearly put together by an exceptionally talented team at the top of their game, great voice acting and genuinely funny in places, and yet..

The second half became so linear, and completely unpredictable (as to when it would end). You're told you have a year, but you don't really have any way of judging when that will be up. I could have milked a shit load of money out of my many tenants, but had no idea when I needed to fill the coffer by.

Although the game did make me laugh a few times, which was cool. But it was so inconsistent.

Can wait for the DLC about the courier with the flag of the old world on his back, something I've been aching to find out about after talking to the bloke who run the Mojave Express at Primm.

LA Noire is pretty awesome, I'm loving how beautiful it is (and 3 DVDS?? that's a lots of games), the character emotion are wonderfully spot on.

it's not perfect, the storyline is quite mellow with a twist of 40's cop b-movie, did not like how quickly he moved from police officer to top of his games, seemed odd and out of space for such a realistic looking games with beautiful facial animation.

Rockstar should've concentrate on games like LA Noire rather than trying to reproduced GTA over and over again, it's nice to not constantly relied on cars all the time.

played crysis 2 yesterday. Boring

LA Noire is starting to get repetitive now, the early start from police officer to traffic is great, but after getting into homicide, it start to get all similar not the murder case but the questioning, the train of though etc.

But then, police work can be repetitive, following the same procedure is to be expected from a good boy scout.

Like other has said, what kept me playing is the wonderful graphic and hard to read facial animation as well as the vague but interesting storyline in true movie style.

Great games but felt quite restricted, especially when interviewing suspect and the like.

anyone played assassin's creed brotherhood? i kinda fancy it, but the first game put me off as it was a bit like LA noire, looked great but very repetitive.

the missus had tried the first game, she loved it, but incredibly repetitive.

Brotherhood is AFAIK, less repetitive.

Best to play Assassin's Creed 2 first - Brotherhood is a follow-on from that story. Both are awesome, beautiful games. Nowhere near as repetitive as AC1.

Loved AC2...hated AC1. 2 is a fantastic game, so I can only imagine brotherhood is better.

Brotherhood is amazing too. MIssions are interesting but I was just in awe at being able to clamber around Rome c.1490. Beautiful.

Can't wait for AC:Revelations. I think it's set in Constantinople with a bit of 12th century Holy Land too.

soooo, after YLOD i have had to buy a new PS3.
unfortunately this has led to no game saves.
had to start Gt5 again (not that bad really, as i *know* what cars are not that good for later and can invest better)
And New vegas, 40hrs+ gone :( i was gonna restart after i finished it, but i never got round to finishing it! ah well.

Can you not pull out the HD? or is that what the yellow light thing is?

Yeah, but it *might* have been a hdd failure.
also I gone from fat to slim so I think it will want to format the hdd anyway so would lose it all.

Shot at someone (thought I had to) and now every time I load the game, that elvis lookalike and his gang all kill me. Instantly.

No other saves to fall back on either. (I know, my bad)

Graig Gardner's career update: Moved to Barcelona as a squad player, was made captain, won the league, cup, champions league treble, BOOM. But were do you go from there? I fancied a crack at the Italian league so I've moved to Juventus, and 5 games in have been man of the match every game. I've even set it quite hard, so it's not a pushover, but I'm only controlling one player, so I can hang around in midfield, putting balls through and reconnecting with them to finish, tidy. Cue game-winning goals and much plaudits. A special player, Manish.

Also, the first 20 mins of dead Island gameplay was released recently, looks like a slower paced Dead Rising.

Saw the video for dead island, didn't think much of it.

There is a new prototype 2 video around though. (not watched it yet... internet is so slow for some reason this morning)

started playing fable 3 yesterday. very much glad it's a rental from lovefilm and not my own game.

will still persevere playing it for a bit though.

I got a really long stint of LA Noire down this weekend.

It's really gripping now, the Narrative, along with likeable and believable characters, make it very engrossing and pretty addictive.

Been playing my free copy of InFamous, its a rather fun game, thankyou Sony. Seems I stuffed up and used up both my free game tokens from the Welcome Back Pack, was really looking forward to getting Dead Nation, I wonder if its worth trying to contact someone about it.

right, my friend has got himself into some trouble regarding a large phone bill, he's selling his xbox: premium 20GB with Fifa 11, Mafia 2, Fifa 09, Fifa 10, Soul Calibur 4 l, GTA 4.

Zelda on the 3DS is out today. I don't have a 3DS, so I downloaded Mupen and Zelda last night and played for a bit. A bit hard without a proper N64 controller, but fun still.

Been playing Crysis 2 the last few days. Fucking brilliant. Its feels like a very clear nod to Cloverfield, which is just fine. Graphics are great on the ps3, considering how underpowered it is compared to a pc and the gameplay flows really well.

This game could have easily just turned in to a graphics willy-waving contest and had no soul but its a very good, wholesome video game with guns and aliens and New York.

I had a quick match on-line which was a bit of a mind-fuck coming from Call of Duty but it seemed pretty solid. Haven't had long enough to get a proper opinion yet.

Also, Battlefield 3 looks insane. Call of duty got complacent with their formula and have just let this come along...
