It was a custom frame so the owner probably really likes it.

Close to where I live.
Lot of stuff is sold already.
Not really collected stuff, but goods you can buy "daily" on Marktplaats. Not exactly what you call a bargain.

You better visit oldcampy, he's just 10 miles away from this guy, has a much better collection and also sells some bikes/frames. Also not cheap tho'...

Yes that was me, i took the prototype i have on loan into Condor for them to check it out.. its also the only bike ive had where people stop me and ask about it.

The Condor one is a later model to the one i have and is lighter and stiffer.
It's not NJS approved though even though it came from Kalavinka, only the lugged steel frames can obtain that status.

crofty.

The owner used it on the track, that's why the chain tension is spot on.

well i should hope so, seems a bit ott for a commuter, I always assumed you'd want a nice taught chain on the track though, what do you gain from a bit of slack?

Backlash.

People claim that it provides smoother ride/less friction/longer bearing life/less drive train wear, but anybody who has seen how slack the bottom run of even a tight chain is under power will realise that this is irrelevant unless you're only concerned about the above mentioned factors during the small amount of time when you're soft pedalling.

Looks like it is on the road to me, and have seen it pictured with rider on the road. I wouldn't want chain tension like that on a brakeless bike but guess the owner likes it (and has smooth roads!)
