Stolen bikes

So woke up this morning just to discover that my two most precious items had been taken from the hallway inside the my building close to London Fields.

Suspecting an inside job since the bikes where on the 2nd floor and there is only one appartment there which is mine. Also to access them you need to get through the locked building door then up the stairs. and on the ground floor three other bikes are parked so definetly the guys who took them knew what they wanted.

First bike.
A lovely pink metallic fixed gear bike with black deep v rims and black gran compe hubs. Black rolls saddle and sugino messenger crankset. got a sticker saying feiyue on the toptube and one saying carl on the chainstay.

Second bike.
A white 2006 genesis flyer with red deep v rims on black goldtec hubs Funny lacing on these.. radial front and then cross and radial on the back.. Black tioga riser bars and blue oury grips. silver crankset. got a red qbn sticker on the head tube..

Checking gumtree, posting flyers around broadway and heading to brick lane on sunday...

Anyone knows, sees, hears anything please let me know.

Thanks

Tea-leaves can see people entering multiple occupancy buildings, with bikes. They can then go into those buildings and nab the bikes that they think will make them the most money. It doesn't necessarily point to being an "inside job".

Were they locked to anything, by the way?

Hey,
one bike was just locked to itself the other not. Not really clever from my end but it was in the hallway on the second floor which practically me and my flatmates are the only ones having access too. The guys lifted and carried out the locked bikt woiht helemt and gloves and all...
Thing is it's multi occupancy building but there are only a total of 10 people living in the whole house... and when you enter it's not really a place you run around in since it is quite compact..

But yeah not saying it's an inside job but just got a weird feeling really..

Sorry to hear man, I had my brand new Marin Belvedere stolen from my house in Stratford, I also did not lock it as I am of (or rather was) of such good faith that I was sure no-one would dare take it.

I was proven wrong, checked Gumtree and banged on the doors in my (5) apartment building.
I shall be camping out Brick Lane myself as well on Sunday.

Especially sour as I only bought it 4 weeks ago and was still awaiting money to be able to afford insurance.

Sucks being a new member.

But I'll be try be there around 11. In the mean time, I am looking for a horrible looking bike for about £100. So if anyone has any leads, let me know.
