LFGSS Official Cycling Jerseys

As a couple of other threads have been resurfaced recently with regards to organising a forum Jersey, I thought that it'd be sensible and preferable to sort it out in a similar way to the t-shirts. Because of that I've gone and stolen some of VB's blurb from the official T-shirt design thread..

Design Theme

THERE IS NO THEME. From my little pony to a simple Rapha style black & pink, any design will be considered.

Judging

All designs will be judged by an open public poll that will run for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Votes on the poll will be considered an "interest in purchasing", and the number of votes will determine whether the Jersey is made. The chaps at Woolistic for example have a minimum run of 40 (which rather helpfully includes male/female cuts, long & short sleeves in sizes S-XXXL)

There is no limit on the designs we put into production, so long as there is enough interest.

You're open to add designs through til the 1st of september, at that point we'll open the voting.

Design Delivery

Upload designs in whatever format you wish

EDIT: just thought I'd add that woolistic have given me templates for their long and short sleeve jerseys for Adobe Illustrator if anyone has that. If you want them in .ai files give me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll pass them on otherwise some kind souls have uploaded .jpeg versions here and here

Oh and thanks for doing this.

I've just tried attching them to this post but they're apparently 'invalid files' unfortunately.

These ones are only for Adobe Illustrator by the way, if anyone else has a template that can be used that'd be pretty cool.

I don't have adobe illustrator so if someone who does could do that for us that'd be great

What are the file types and what kind of size are they?

I'm very hesitant against hosting large files... our database is over 4GB in size as it is. But if they're small files and you just want a new file type adding then sure.

I knew that people would disagree on material.. I know that there are a few vegans out there who might want a jersey so depending on how many people want what we'll decide later.

I personally would prefer the Merino wool jerseys that woolistic have to offer as they look great and Merino is awesome.

Pretty standard but something to get the ball rolling

The font should be Serpentine SB - Bold Italic (the snap on tools font) but there was no way I was going to spend $26 on it.

is it just about the prints or can we change shape/place of the panels?
i'd like a 1/2 or 3/4 way zipper for instance.

Every now and then I wear the Rapha one I have to justify the price, but can't stand the thing, plus it seems to give off the most unholy reek after the tiniest bit of sweat 'wicking'.

Oh that's just me.

It's ok; it wasn't true anyway, just wanted to surprise you. But if the forum has merino wool jerseys made then members should at least be able to ask informed questions about it's provenance so they can opt in or out. And shake it all about.
