Bar ends don't fit risers!

I just got some B-Witch risers and some Aaron Ross grips.

However, the inner circumference is too small and the plastic bar end thingies that came with the grips don't fit! I tried the condor bar ends that go on the end of my old drops, but those don't fit either...

What can I do?

^ Yes that. Aluminium mtb bars are usually very thick.

Ok I'll try that, thanks!

I've just realized I dunno how I'll fit the brake lever...
Having fitted the grips, they are long enough to curve down the bars, leaving no room for the brake lever to clamp on!

Can anyone solve the 2nd problem?

I've tried clamping the lever onto the curve (which is closet bit of bare bar there is before the grip). But every time I tighten the bolts, the angle of the lever goes wonky.

I do not intend to ride brakeless before anyone asks!

i guess bmx grips are made for bmx bikes. do you want to keep the flanges? cut like 15mm (or however wide the brake clamp is) off whichever end you dont want. either that or splash out on something like and eclat swift lever. you can adjust the angle of the lever, i think it might be the only lever that does that.

Bar end caps I should say?

Sorry, here are some pictures.

These are cross tops so obviously not ideal for use on the bend...
I have used a rubber pad for a shim.

@smallmoutsache: The flanges I plan to cut off but I'm worried about doing it neatly.
Same with cutting 15mm off.
Good suggestion but I'd rather not spend some more on brake levers if I already have some.
Are those ones you found similar to these?
