Calling all giants! 65cm 531 frame for sale

Mr Natwest sent me a letter this morning telling me that he will be reducing my interest free overdraft in a week.
I bought this frame recently with a view to have it hanging about until I could afford to build it up, but I can't even afford to keep it now. So I'll pass it on to another giant.

Specs are as follows:
  • 65cm seat tube CtC
  • 58cm top tube CtC
  • 27.2 seatpost
  • Nice holed lugs
  • Comes with a half decent headset
  • 120mm spacing (I'm guessing it used to be 126, but still, it can be shifted about a little.
It's got my wheelbuild on it on this picture - gives you an idea of clearances with 28c. The paint ain't great, but you could easily use it as-is with a little clean up. It would look amazing after a trip to armortex and an hour with some humbrol doing the lugs though.
£95 POSTED TO YOUR DOOR VIA SPECIAL DELIVERY (payment by paypal). If you pay me today I'll aim to have it sent out and with you by tomorrow.

What sort of height would this suit?

You may recall a 6'8" friend of mine is considering gettting a bike.

I would guesstimate late 80's/early 90's, but I'm not sure.

Relatively short TT in comparison to that huuuge seat tube, but I do happen to have a 140mm Cinelli 1A for sale... for any proper giant giants.

Columbus SX

Seat tube = 63 cm (c-t)
Top tube = 59 cm (c-t)
Standover height = 88 cm

PM me if you're interested.

ps Sorry to hi-jack but as you've sold it I thought it'd be ok and save on space :)

He has ridiculously long legs, but normal/slightly long arms, have you not seen how high he has his seatpost lol, thats probably perfect geometry for him.

We're the same height overall pretty much, but if he gets on my bike he can only get like 70% leg extension when I have it at my normal commuting height, and if I get on his bike my feet can't touch the ground haha!

Haha, you might have to fight him for the death to get that frame off of him! I think he was talking about putting it back into road bike mode with gears and everything.

But as you just pointed out it is far too small for him, best to let it go to someone who has a more suitable physiognomy.

A well reasoned argument, ply him with a few beers and some rare highly collectable vinyl and you might be able to wrench it away from him ;)

No takers by this evening and it's going back on the 'bay.
