| | to be honest it prob took less time than some of the photoshoped efforts above. can anyone tell me why youtube over compresses everything that you upload. That file was about 25MB and they have a limit of 100mb...so why all the compression? It was renedered as an animation QT...so very little compression. |

Animation codec with very little compression and NO key compression key framing (not to be confused with animation key framing) is about as good as it gets for the input stage. Make sure you do the scaling of your render/edit to 320x240 - don't let Youtube do it as it uses a non-FIR crappy scaling algorithm (perhaps even a crude nearest neigbour scaler ?) and generally this is where a large part of the crappiness is introduced. Or . . . Forget youtube and host your movies at VIMEO [ http://www.vimeo.com/ ] open a (FREE!!) account - and upload high quality movies right up to Full HD (1920x1080) with stereo sound (youtube is mono) and much better compression (it supports H264 amongst other things) and takes in just about any format. Compare these. Type - Guinness Music Machine - into Youtube and have a look at the best quality you can find - now see how VIMEO handles it (link below) (the first play of a video on VIMEO is a bit choppy on my machine, but after it has played through once it will play smoothly everytime you hit the play button. | | Dear Sir / Madam I am writing this with regards to one of the forums you host, the London Singlespeed and Fixed Gear forum. We have been monitoring this for a few months now as one of our products has been mentioned several times. While we appreciate and understand that people have a right to voice their concerns and opinions of a brand or company, these posts have been personal, discriminatory against the Arrospok, and beyond reasonable criticism of a brand or company, let alone the harassment of a single type of wheel. We have printed records of these forums which will be passed on as required. At this stage we hope to reach an amicable solution to this which will not require further legal action. Would it be possible for the moderators of this forum to contact us to discuss this. Kind regards Arron Spok Direcor of Communications Arrospok Ltd. |
