| | Nick Griffin egged in Parliament Square Lets hope the Anti Nazi League harry him whereever he goes. Can't wait to see the terrified look on his face as his minders bundled him into a waiting car. Eggs / plackards (sp. ? ) you name it they hit him with it. I would love to spend a day or two following him to all his meetings and expending box after box of eggs ! |

Anyway, must have took some unusual self restraint for those bone heads to not jump on the protesters. Did enjoy watching the bastard run off. Bet he'll be parking closer from now on. Last edited by horatio; 9th June 2009 at 17:03. Reason: typos and sexism | |

| | It's ok though, the people who organised it are as bad. It was the group "Unite against Facism. Their site (http://www.uaf.org.uk/ which, btw, doesn't work) who organised the protest. This is a group who "don't believe in free speech" see the video - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8091727.stm It's ok for the UAF to have their voices heard, but not for the BNP to have their voices heard, even though the BNP are non-violent, serious, legitimate political party... They are funded by the UCU (university and colleges union). A group with a "black members only section" and a black members only mailing list. |

| | that, Nigel, is because you spend all day on the internet Googling members' names so as to appear to have a stock of recondite knowledge. The only surprise is that you didn't write your post in the cod Latin that was for a while your tragic trademark. Now get back to work repairing that Mac. Do something useful with your life for once. |

As to his election, don't blame Griffin, blame the Northern scum who elected him. He's an unpleasant little prick, but nobody was forced to vote for him, so one assumes that there are tens of thousands* of equally (or more) unpleasant pricks oop noorth. *132,094 in NW and 120,139 in Yorks/Humber Last edited by mitre_tester; 9th June 2009 at 19:14. | | I enjoy a good egg attack as much as the next person, but I feel that not tackling the BNP in a debate will only lead to further reactionary voting. The BNP seem to be able to make various pledges but because they are being gagged are not questioned further on how they are actually going to achieve change. |

| | ^ I don't care if their policies included giving me personally a ton of free cash and employing hot Swedish women in skimpy outfits to serve me pitchers of beer in my garden that lighted large Cuban cigars (supplied by the state and blessed by Fidel himself) and they guaranteed that they had a deal with the sun god so it never rained when I wanted to go riding ... I still won't vote for them because they are racists ... Most thickos that probably voted for them will swallow up any old bollox about pakki's/polish/black/asians stealing our jobs. If you have any sensible arguement about "if someone wants to do the same job for less pay, you better start working harder to make yourself worth it", they won't listen and still go on about people stealing jobs. Most of these thicko cunts, are jobless claiming benefits. I unfortunately have a 4 step siblings which don't work and go on about "people stealing their jobs" ... And most have this vision of immigration in their head. ![]() (obviously substitue American with English Bloke) |

| | I laughed when Griffin (and his half-witted acolytes) described his egging as 'undemocratic'. He is unfortunately a legally elected politician, so the fact that people were able to throw eggs at him was a perfect example of the freedoms that democracy allows in action. It was an excellent demonstration of democracy at work. He's a total cunt, and anyone who supports him also qualifies for that description in my book. |

| | Part of me thinks it's quite good that these people got elected. They have never really had a voice. They have capitalised on this, and identified themselves with people who also think they don't have a voice. They got elected because nobody had really heard the crap they had to spout. I think you destroy and ridicule the BNP's arguments by letting the BNP make them. Once people actually hear the shite that comes out of their mouth all credibility will be lost and they will become unelectable once more. Well I can hope... |

| | just a quick question. what did throwing eggs at him achieve? other than obviously getting his lovely face all over telly, all over the internet - i mean we're all sitting here talking about it now. so other than some really, really fantastic exposure that the bnp otherwise couldn't afford. do people honestly believe that throwing eggs at him is going to make him stop and think to himself that everything he understands and peaches is wrong, that he's promoting an awful thing. is throwing eggs at him going to make him stand down? it's this type of fucking mindless, moronic student idealism that causes half the problems. if people bothered to take more than two seconds away from their constant "fuck the bnp" "i'm so ashamed of england right now" twitters, and tried to understand why people were voting this way we would definitely be in a lot less bother. calling people cunts and all the rest of it for voting bnp doesn't do anything but segregate people further. it's the same with all these fucking 'anti bnp marches' i've been reading about. what the fuck do they achieve. |
