I'm another future Aberdeen fixed rider. Got a frame on its way so will hopefully be cruising around town sometime next week!

Got this http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k...te9987/ff5.jpgon it's way & some Alien Deep Vs to stick on it. Have an old bmx at home so looking at getting a Euro BB conversion and using my Profile cranks too. I've various plans for this bike but I'll just have to wait and see what fits from my bits in the shed!

Edinburgh Bikes say they've got these in stock http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/ebwP...D=%2D1&f%5Fbct=

But you'll probs have to go in and order them as they'll be in their depot. On the plus side they'll build them too but they're not cheap.

I couldn't work out if they had sealed bearings?

Did I see someone else riding a light blue singlespeed / fixed this morning at 8.45 turning off schoolhill onto the street with the taxi rank and 99 on it? I just caught a glimpse on my way to work.

Any of you guys playing polo yet? Tournament in Edinburgh on the 27th if you are interested. Get in contact and we can sort out accommodation etc. It should finish in time for you to get a train back home.

I know of one guy from Aberdeen called Craig, living in Glasgow now, who wants to come along to play and would represent Aberdeen, just need a couple more. Any takers?

Any of you guys want to come down for the tournament on the 27th? It will be a good laugh, nothing too serious so dont worry about abilities and all that. Also, it will be a good opportunity for yous to me folk from Edinburgh and Glasgow, riding fixed, all sound c*nts.

As I said before, there is already a guy from Aberdeen wanting to play, so a couple can hook up with him to make a team. The more the merrier.

yeah, you guys should make a team and come down. we have plenty of mallets you can borrow, so just hook up a low gear ratio and come have fun! or if only a couple want to play we could make a scratch team of edinburgh+aberdeen, as we have a couple more people might want to play but not in a team.

I saw a daccordi with a track hub by belmontstreet locked up high to a gate and two fixies by little belmont street other with a flip flop (light blue bike) and the other was a brownish red colnago with drop bars. Whats special with this area?

oH, and i also saw a guy driving by union street with a dark blue fixie. is stopped him, and he seemed glad i noticed he was driving a fixie...

I saw the Colnago again yesterday and a fixie skidder blue bike with risers and white Araya rims on Belmont - possibly an Onza? - the guy with the Daccordi I have spoken to - he locks that up on the railings outside Slains Castle on Belmont.

My bike was parked briefly on the corner of slains briefly too. Saw another guy riding a white / black fade single speed with a really slack chain and a spoon saddle outside alpine bikes and nipping down schoolhill. The daccordi is fucking sick, has the guy got new bars for it?

The reason I was there is because friday is lunch from Beautiful Mountain day!

My build is taking alot longer than I'd planned! Turns out next to nothing from my other bikes will fit. Perhaps I was a touch ignorant coming into this and didn't realise even the seatpost width would be different on the old frame compared to my more modern one. Will I be able to pick up a 1" post somewhere in town or will this be an ebay job?

Don't suppose anyone has a crank removal tool I could borrow?

Sup everybody!! Dude with the fuji track with risers and green grips! Soon to get some massive upgrades, new rims arrived today, my new dia compe hubs won't be lonely for much longer! It's badass to see how this thread has grown, and since my last post i've met a few of you :)

Me and Daniel/greeni from becycle wanna get something started, some sort of meet but we're not really sure what! Of course there's the thursday night rides, but we want something fixie and singlespeed specific... i want a pub crawl lol!! Ideas guys!!

Other than that we've got a fun night at Transition Extreme planned for the end of the month with some art and other urban cycling related things along with the British premier of the film VEER!

Blue and white Fuji Track with black bullhorns locked up outside Waterstones on Union St just 15 mins ago - another new one on me.

Met Old Gold and friend (owner of blue Onza) briefly the other night on Little Belmont - as I left them a dude whizzed by me on a white single speed - maybe the SE Lager I've seen...

Bendudenhoffer - let me know if you sort a fixed/ss meet up out - cheers
