Fking Singleator requires an 18mm cone spanner to tighten the spring. *sigh*
Would be nice if this was on the packet or the shopguy mentioned it so I could've bought one.
So, does anyone have an 18mm cone spanner I can borrow? I'll probably buy one - how often does the tension need adjusting? Every time you move the tensioner? What a pain!

dont need the spanner just take the chain off tighten at a more upward/downward angle depending on how your using the singulator then put the chain back on.

Yeah but then there's no spring tension. It'd work but I'd need to check it to make sure it didn't loosen off (bye bye 'manual' tension) and it'd wear out quicker as there'd it'd have to be tight and stay clamped tight.
Plus, it was in the instructions.. and I love following them to the letter :)

Cheers, I got the spanner today anyway. I'm drinking instant coffee this week so I'm in front money-wise anyway ;)
I just wanted to do it properly so I didn't have to walk back to the shop to buy another £30 tensioner! :)
