OK, Round 1 of voting is open:

The point of this round... to decide which shirts we will produce.

The 2nd round will determine how many we make, what colours, sizes, materials.

So right now... you have 1 week (until the end of May) to say which shirts you would consider purchasing if they were made available.

Oh, and you should vote for as many as you would consider purchasing. Did I say that? Well, point is, not all of the shirts will be made... so if you only vote for a couple chances are the ones that would have been your 2nd preference wouldn't be made.

And finally... if you change your mind... just go back and vote again. It will delete your prior votes and register the new votes.

Is there anywhere we can see the current results? No worries if not.

Nope, but I do need such a page, so I will build one. Perhaps after my exam on Tuesday.

hey vb, just wondering whether its worth having the competition voting run for longer than a week, and is there anyway you can get a little reminder for people to vote on it, as this is hopefully going to be the main money spinner for the forum, best to get as many people as possible voting, so there can also be no moaning or conspiracy theories about how favourite design wasn't put into the second round with a chance of production...

Too much information.

This revision and my work stress has prevented me from riding for almost a month. I think my state of mind is understandable. Too sleep deprived and stressed to ride safely. I feel like I'm walking around in a dream. Detached. Somehow I'm enjoying the whole experience though. I can't wait to get back on the bike.

All that appear to be viable... currently about 10 designs.

C'mon, get the gear inch table up there. As soon as someone passes out at drinks we can have a pin the cocktail gherkin on your GI comp. Besides, I hear that cute bartenders give free drinks to people sporting obscure mathematic datasets.

Only ten are viable?! What's the cut off?

I haven't reduced it to an exact science. It depends on the number of colours, whether it prints to the edge, etc. But each design needs to cover the cost (with profit) of making the screens to do the print... after that there are normal per-unit costs (shirt + ink + printing + distribution).

But the key point: Each shirt has to cover the production of the screens it requires.

We may make loads of designs, but I can say with surety that if there is a demand for 50+ shirts of a design, then it gets made.

I apologise for not having read through the thread for this but... can we get the winners printed on American Apparel tees? Good quality, good fit etc. Ok, the CEO is a child molester, but apart from that they're great.

Given these factors, are you going to allow the indecisive the same option to change votes in the "yes I'll buy it poll"?
