 | Cyclefit in Dublin? Howya, Does anyone know of any shops around the city center that does cyclefits for good prices? I have some discomfort in my knees at times and other places at times also. Even if one of you were good at it maybe you could give me a hand at fitting me properly to my bike? Thanks, Stein. |

| | Hi, I posted this in the general forum too.... Hi, If I was you I would ensure that the bike is set up properly and then avoid concentric contractions (skids or attempting skids). To apply a force through your muscles and fail is a very bad thing for your joints and tendons. This sounds like you've strained your quadricep tendon. Which would be in line with trying to slow the bike. Just buy a break and don't bother using your legs to slow down. Peace |
