When I first got my bob it did look and feel BIG. But then I soon realised that it's this size for a reason...... it was made to fit me for the track. They have track geometry and this one is Manchester legal so an even higher BB. I'm 5'8 so not the tallest: it looks to me to be for a taller person.

I love it, it is the perfect fit for me and I doubt I'll ever do better. Super comfy, use it every day rain or shine and it makes me smile.

Going to put my order in soon.

Anyone know if it is regarded as a full custom if I request those lovely Paul Comp Track ends (like the BLB version) and remove the bottle cage holes.

Also how do these frames fit 700 size rims?

Yep, you'd need to shell out for a full custom job just to get those Paul track-end (and probably the fluted seat-stay too).

700c fit fine, I wasn't aware it can able to have several different wheel size.

Full custom cost £100 and it includes the track ends, fluted tube, paint etc.

Bottle bosses there or not are standard to the frame.

Yawn,
That's a beautiful looking bike - do you mind me asking what frame size it is? I'm just a tad shorter than you so could do with some idea of what would be a good size to go for.
Those brake levers do look like a bit of a stretch though, would you have gone for a slightly larger frame if you were fitting risers?

Cheers.

Isn't yours the BLB version?
Is it made to custom measurements?

This picture is actually a little deceiving, the levers are not as far away as it suggests, check the left hand bar; the proportion is true from tis angle.

seat tube - 55cm c-t
top tube - 55cm c-c
stem - 110mm

I'm used to the bar position as I come from road bikes but with my hands on the flat bit of the bars (as you would be with risers) it's good for me. Saying that, this is a custom build so fits me, you may well want a different setup.

I would recommend a custom fit to anyone who's thinking of keeping their frame for a while. I've had many off-the-peg road bikes in past that sort of fit, this is my first that really does fit. Money well worth spending in my opinion, and it sounds as though custom builds have a shorter lead time then when I ordered mine in March '08. I finally got my hands on it 7 months later!

Print-outs are useless. Use a Pantone™ or Ral book so you and BJ are on the same page when it comes to colour. Ask them which they use.

I'm not really up on my saddle knowledge, I got my brooks and it's done me perfectly, but it doesn't really suit the bike, this, however, would be perfect!
