High End Track Frame and Fork and Campagnolo Atlanta '96 Rims, to trade for NJS Frame

I have these for trade. Cash either way too.

Roy Manser Track Frame, with matching Fork and OMAS Headset.

I bought this from dmczone. It is a beauty. It looks to have only been built up once! Theres not a mark on it. All original.

Specs:
High end Columbus Neuron Tubing.
Matching unmolested (not drilled) Forks.
Perfect condition OMAS headset.
120mm Rear Spacing.
100mm Fork Spacing.
English BB Shell.
52cm seat tube c-c.
54cm top tube c-c.
38inch wheelbase.
10.75inch BB height - That's without tires.

Campagnolo Atlanta '96 Deep V Rims.

A pair of brand new/unused Campagnolo Atlanta '96 Deep V Rims. Never been built up. 36 Hole.

I'm after a real nice NJS/Keirin Frame. I'm around 5'8 in height, so would like around a 52/53cm Frame. I've added some pictures, and i can get more pictures if needed.

Cheers,

Dan

I'd like to buy the rims, depending on how much cash you would like for them.

i'd keep it with the atlanta rims if i were you. both of these have much more character than some NJS frame + deep V's.

OK no worries. I'd keep this bad boy rather than some keirin rubbish...

damn it, to think about it, i appreciate these more than the NJS mark so if i had the cash i'd buy the whole shebang off you. unfortunately i can't justify another bike. wish i'm rich.

I'd have to agree with everyone, keep that frame and build it up with those awesome rims.
This could be, and probably is a long shot...
...why dont you contact njsblogspot.com and see if they'll do you a trade? If Quality English frames are worth as much in Japan as people say they are then maybe they'll hook you up???
As i said, it's a long shot.

Thanks for the comments and advice guys :-)

Yeah, i think it would be amazing all built up with Campagnolo and Royce parts. I just keep getting this NJS urge. I think it was andypancake's Giro that started it. That was a hell of a nice bike!

Agreed. Most of the frames siezed under the 2008 Shoreditch NJS Amnesty are now in the hands of authorities. Consequently, the black market is probably your only viable option.

I'm guessing thats going to put up the prices even more so in the future?

I've spent a long time drooling at:
http://njs-keirin.blogspot.com/
http://www.keirinculture.com/store/catalog/
http://njsframes.blogspot.com/

...are they any other NJS stores i should be looking at?

fuck swapping this beaut, seriously. are the decals under a clearcoat? if not i'd lose them for starters. otherwise the paint is epic- great colour and quality by the looks of it. needless to say those rims are also jaw-dropping gorge.

Yeah, i was thinking they are very popular at the moment, so it would be harder for me to find the right Frame that i want.

I have been reading about it. It seems like a real nice tubeset! I haven't seen too many Frames that use it.

It's really quite difficult to get a Keirin frame in the right size. I was lucky and found a 53.5mm Nagasawa on another forum, and I'm going to hang onto it. Most available frames are too small for me.

I have e-mailed him a couple of times, but didn't get a response. Do you have a contact phone number maybe, or could you pass on the message that i'm VERY interested?

Congratulations on that Giro, stunning!

+ 1 for what Catboy said, i bought my Bridgestone off him about 6 months back and have just finished it. It was mint and wasnt the frame that I intended to buy but when i saw it fell in love with it.

Cant understand the negativity towards the so called Keirin or NJS shit as its been described on here. Over priced and over inflated but surely thats the same with anything branded.

Different is nt always bad, and at the end of the day its your money what you do with it is up to you surely!

Your Manser frame is beautiful and seeing as its almost complete seems like madness to move it on especially as you have the rims already. Maybe build it up and if it still doesnt excite you give Steve ( guy from the gumtree ad) a buzz.
