Pedal t-shirt (updated)

09 / 02 / 09

HERE ARE THE FINAL COLOURS...

White, Grey and Kelly Green. Available in Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large. I'll put up chest measurements and all that when they go on sale.

Price still to be confirmed, but probably as before.

I was looking at some tops for girls but didn't know what sort of style would be best, anyone have any advice?

Thanks.

I've been talking to the printers and have been thinking about the design/colours. The design will be printed in black on coloured shirts. The shaded tone shown in the pictures is actually a halftone hatch rather than a solid grey. Yes that's my avatar; it's a logo that I plan on using for a number of little projects from here on in.

Colour-wise, I'm so far thinking white, marl grey, purple and green. Please let me know what you think about these and if you think I should include others.

Price will be £12 collected or £14 delivered.

This thread is just a to find out roughly how many people will be interested. I'll start a new thread for actual orders in due course once I have it all worked out.

Thanks,

Josh.

I can recommend these guys in Kentish Town http://www.fifthcolumn.co.uk/ they did a good job for me some years ago. American Apparel are also a good bet for stock T Shirts.

i reckon the same black line drawing on a selection of colours of shirt, that way people can get a colour they actually want.

i'd seriously be interested to know what colour shirts people would want, that'd help. purple and green are musts ;)

Don't print on Gildans they are shit! I had a run of shirts made up with them a few years back and the sizing was awful it seemed like each shirt was different cut! American Apparel have a much better fit and come in a better colour range IMO.

what? sorry, but no way, AA shirts are all over the place, their sizes never fit the same twice and the stitching comes undone after a few months. every gildan shirt i own (which is a fair few) fits pretty much the same and they hold up much better than most.

I guess your always going to get some inconsistency. I have some medium and some large AA shirts that seem to fit the same?? The Gildans we had were made in two place Honduras and Mexico and the fits were completely different, one set had a long body and short sleeves and the other was the opposite?! I think it all comes down to how much you have to spend on the stock shirt and what colours you want.

I appreciate that everyones financial situation is different but personally i would much rather pay 20 or 30 notes for a T that i know will last a couple of years, rather than get one on the cheap thats fcked after a few washes. i have always found 100 percent cotton grey marl to be extremely hard wearing.
