2009-01-15 - Rider Down, London Bridge Station

I saw a cyclist being put on a stretcher this morning, exactly outside London Bridge Station (Tooley Street). His right foot didn't look right, and I think the ambulance staff had stabalised his head. Didn't look good. I think he rode a geared Specialized Tricross, as it was parked up nearby, with no rider, and lights still flashing.

If anyone knows him, I hope he's ok.

Shit. I don't know what was up with the roads this morning, but the traffic was really heavy and drivers were especially irrate. I've never heard so much honking of horns or seen so much shitty driving in one 30 minute journey.

Hope the guy is okay.

Not me, I live in Swindon.

Also, my bike isn't geared.

I had a lorry almost run me over on borough high street today, most threatened I think I've ever felt (without it being my fault anyway)... had a how am I driving sticker... 0800 22 55 22 or something like that... anyone think it's worth calling up and complaining?

The way he was driving I wouldn't be surprised if it was him...

Hope he's alright (whether he's on here or not!)

Some Dangerous intersections near London Bridge way especially the main station entry/exit. Always a go slow zone for me!!

Won't be any of the recent tricorss buyers, as it was single speed.
