Heh, I was joking, personally I just use a scalpel around the inside of old rim I have, then bolt it on with some nuts/bolts/washers, done, easy.

Anyone know if it's possible to have the rear stays pinched in so a wider tyre can be fitted?
Who could do this?

My bike would be perfect if I could just get a slightly bigger tyre into the back...

Todd, now having the v-brake plate, you could push the rear axel at the end of the dropouts, maybe having to enlarge the chain a bit in the process.

put I suposse you have already try that...

It doesn't bolt to the brake bridge on a frame made for 700c.
So you need another plate of some kind to secure it.
This one was from my old diacompe clamp-on.

It's secured at the bottom with cable-ties as the original metal clips wont go small enough for rear stays though others can be sourced which is prob a good idea.

It's very retro-future.

Bmx is f'ing awesome - period! It influenced well over a decade of my life, but I feel polo will be a big influence on the forthcoming one, so I wanna embrace that!
