| | Me and Prav found a great spot just off Lillie Road at the Fulham Palace Road end in the Bayonne Estate It's massive - may need to play across ways with some cones, floodlit although the lights were not on when we were there ( late, around 10pm) there was still light enough around in the estate to see well enough- from Fulham palace Road turn left into Lillie Road and turn left at the fitness centre into Everington Street - then turn right into the estate. Just follow the sound of leather on willow - er plastic on plastic. We were thinking Tuesday nights 6pm onwards maybe meet at the Crabtree? We had a little knock about in the Bear Pit by the Crabtree but it really is a bit too punk/ rollerball. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?ie=...82c9741a54fe6b ![]() ![]() Last edited by dante; 2nd March 2009 at 10:20. |

| | most we looked at that were suggested were school playgrounds - we dived into a few estates but most were locked and for residents only type vibe this was the only open one - there's a youth centre round the corner and we had a chat with a guy who worked there he said he'd look into for us but its busy 3 nights a week and will get used even more in the summer obviously - i can have a word with him on Thursday - he mentioned trying to get it left open at weekends for public use. |

| | That size puts it on par with the Pit in NYC. Shame about the posts at the ends though, why do all the courts in London have to have fixed, yet randomly sized, goals?! That extra width makes it ideal for 2 short courts if you can fix a divider. West end tourney in the works? Agreed about all dayers there but West could still have their weekdays if they get the numbers up. Maybe we should all hit it up on saturdays for a few weeks to try and attract more westies? |

| | I think Dante and I need to get there regularly, without fail.. Once people can be sure they aren't wasting a journey, I'm confident some poloists will come out of the woodwork.. Hael and Greasy Slag are interested (bikes are getting ready). @mike - I'll check it out on Saturday to see if it gets used by the residents much. |

| | thats a great looking court dante, mondays sound good too, don't worry abtou shin, he dosnt peddle anywhere outside his comfort zone unless you offer him a blow job. I keep getting him to come to souths, by telling him "no really ray dale is turning up this week." You should see his face when he realises dales not there and he ain't getting a blow job. ho ho ho. |

| | I'm told harrods is the place to go for elephants... I'm sure those that live out west will know about harrods either from having a gold card or having to shop there for their masters... I'm only starting so I'm using a giraffe till I can get the parts for an elephant that I like the look of... I want one in pink, but all the one's I've seen for sale have been brown... |

| | Rain stops play today as soft westies realise that their moustaches may droop.. I checked the court 2 weekends ago on Saturday and it was partly being used by local kids - I don't want to stop them playing on the weekends, so suggest a reign-check for the weekend play. Elephants would probably help. |
