what's the earliest people can get down to get the court - I'm not sitting there on my own again - need at least 3 or 4 to get a knockabout rolling while we wait for the cavalry. is 11 too early?

I missed you guys. Work was cack.

But on the plus I found out what the rattling was on the polo bike. It was that all the spokes in the rear wheel were loose and the wheel was mega bent. Its now all fixed - thanks Bartos.

I will see you lot next monday for some more skill polo (and before you ask I'm in oxford on thurseday).

I notice one thing, is it a coincidence that there has been no-one complaining about aches and pains and neither Harry nor I were there? We quite literally bring the pain? :-)

auf, I've got one piece of pipe, I'll bring it on monday and you and Jonk can fight it out over who gets it! Or maybe cut in half and you can each have one mallet with a really short head?

Alternatively look out for gas main repair works or if you are feeling really adventurous go to where the vehicles are based...

I'm defo up for playing in a team, and will be coming every week once I've sorted my various bike problems out...

(I should have two possible polo bikes by next monday, but I've been thinking that's going to be the case for about 3 weeks now! :-)

James, Tanya & Jonks - I've got some mallet piping for ya that you can grab off me on Thursday or Monday

Keep an eye out in the charity shops for steel shafted golf clubs or ski poles [not graphite ones] - try and get Drivers as they are a bit longer and give you more options with length

Once the bike/mallet are sorted i'm up for any sort of league. Or team. Or knockabout. Polo is pretty much the shit.

Talking with Pip last night we were thinking Monday night stays as throw-ins so everyone is welcome to rock up and play and choose another evening where we could practise and play as set teams
