Lights were amazing. Fantastic games on a great court. Perfect surface in the wet, maybe a bit grippy in the dry, but great size, layout, walls and non-playing area. + rep Gabes, as soon as I am able.

That's really, really new isn't it? I wanted to play there one day that the 5-a-side was on at Downham Road, but it wasn't built.

Damnit, if only I'd gone back recently I could have claimed this as my own!

Can I just say that this court rocks - even though I did have 5 (count them) punctures!

nice size, great lights, smooth surface, I like it very sexy much

Not wide enough for some of us Roxy. I need football goals the way my shooting's going.

But yeah, they're a little big for league games maybe, but ace fun for throw-ins.

It's not new, been there since the 60's (just been refurbed). I can't believe the Dover boys are gonna have to put up with hipsters on their doorstep. be warned, they might not take too kindly to it.

I can't walk very well, sitting down is uncomfortable, lying on my right side is impossible. I managed to ride to work no problem though.

I was commenting on the accumulated number of bike and bike related failures + overall group hurtyness. Didn't mean to offend you by proxy of a joke about a court which happens to be close to the home you rent.

I'm looking forward to playing here again.
Had my best polo crash there so feels like home already.
After 'that' one, a disc wheel is now under construction.
My hand is feeling a bit tender today.

Poor Ben. You need to get some tools and spare tubes in your bag. In fact, get them tyres replaced! Man I felt bad for ya!

am building a polo wheel as we speak - 27 1/4 for more blocking power, 36 straight gauge spokes, bonty hardcase tyre, old skool high flange hub, and the all important wheel cover! - any suggestions on what the thickest strongest innner tube might be?

As long as the rim tape is good and the inside rim isn't sharp, you should be cool with any decent inner tube.
