I see that UWE students will be on vacation from the 15th to the 26th. Maybe there's some space in the halls? If only there were someone "on the inside"...

Also, there seems to be a distinct lack of beer sponsors compared to previous years. I hope this will be rectified forthwith.

Hello,
We've now upgraded to 28 teams. New teams have been added to the list.

We've still got some on the waiting list. If anybody has to drop out please can you let me know as soon as possible so that places can be offered up.

Any updates to team names / composition then let us know. Thanks.

I'll be in Europe for a couple of weeks, looking to play some tournament. DutchMaster on LOBP and HCBP.org. Originally started to play in Utrecht, Holland but since a year playing in San Diego and Los Angeles. Solid tournament finishes here and looking for the same in Europe. So if you're looking for a third hit me up...

Is five miles for camping too far?

This is the nearest official campsite I can find:
http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/re...asp?revid=9801

I'm willing to wild camp if others are up for it?

It's not really cyclable on a polo gear after a tournament and polocat and session down the pub. Bristol is a bit rubbish for campsites, did you try the Caravan club on Baltic Wharf?

All the gear no idea
I don't know how it would sit with peoples budgets for accommodation, but a very convenient place to stay would be the Full Moon Backpackers Hostel. Not only is it very close to the courts, it is looking very likely that we will be having the Saturday night bash there. There is talk of them setting up special bike parking on site for us and providing catering. They can accommodate up to 70 people in various room sizes. http://fmbristol.co.uk/full-moon-bac...rs-hostel.html 17.50 for the night.

We asked there, but it sounds as if they're fully booked. If anyone finds out that's changed please let us know, 'cause it really would be ideal.

http://www.rocknbowlmotel.com/ looks like the best bet. It's pretty central, has a good bar, and has bowling. It looked as if it was as cheap as anything else (17ish per night?).

If anyone's going for it it might be worth seeing if a group can book a room together. They're limited in the number of bikes they can take though.

9am start, I'm afraid. We're only able to keep the court on the Saturday until 4.30 so we need to make an early start to make sure we can get it all in.

Accommodation
We're just starting to work out what accommodation's available in people's houses. If you would like to be accommodated, please can you let us know as soon as possible so we can work it out?
I'm afraid there's no way we can house everyone. If there's any special pleading that you'd like to put to us that's fine...
Thanks.
