No, I was geared up. I reckon it would be do-able fixed, not too many steep hills, more just long drags
Done. Great route, shit legs. Would only have changed about 5% of the roads, even the a-roads were pretty quiet.
Ended up just stopping at a grubby corner shop in turner's hill for a coke and some water. Plenty of coffee options between ditchling and turner's but just wanted to get on with it!
Just watched the end of e3; superb effort from G. Looking super strong this year, glad he got it after MSR. Sagan looked cooked when the attack came.
@Hefty Haha no, but i thought nairo was a proper waif. That height: weight ratio sounds kind of similar to that of a normal person as opposed to a pro climber
That is actually a little surprising given he's practically a midget (5ft 6)
Argh that pic is mocking me! In used to live just up the road from there but am dahn sahth now. Will keep my eye out in other big sainos. Not sure I CBA to make it...
I saw that too. The big Sainos in Brixton / Tulse Hill definitely doesn't stock it; I reckon they're lying.
And I have seen the fresh stuff in some waitrose actually - forgot to mention that. But seems like few of them ever actually stock it! And i'm after dry stuff ideally.
Help required please: Where TF do you find wholewheat tagliatelle?
Everywhere I look (including a few Italian delis) you can get brown spaghetti / lasagne / penne, but never tagliatelle.
I'm planning on going down to Ditchling, up the beacon, and back, very soon (i.e., not into Brighton).
Anyone been round those regions recently and got recommendations for cafe stops? I guess in Ditchling or nearby would be the best place
Double fried egg FTW. I do that too - no point doing one. Noone only wants one egg at a time!
