    I was at the show and it looked ace in the flesh, proper modern racing bike with a high quality finish.

    Nice project again Wim! Will be enjoyable to follow your pogress again :)

    Just guessing but maybe it was repainted after damage repair, with the extra bits added into the mix as an update.

    Indeed this one should have 1st gen Shamals ideally.

    Awesome bike.

    Monostay on my SMG

    I know, no cassette. Temp build this.

    I think Tijs his bike would have looked a lot different had he not considered the visual impact of the parts. It's not really a functionalist's dream bike (nor is 99% of the other bikes on here). A small critique for using a cheapish looking seatpost is fair game.

    I'd hate to see this place filled with 105 Cubes.

    Awesome build Tijs, so clean.

    Some Columbus MAX frame and fork decals would be a nice touch I think.

    @Malou @HACHA

    SMG it is then :). Thanks for the information and pointers. Very interesting to read up on. I've now scanned pignonfixe, plenty of nice examples on there. Interesting to see they all look so different from each other. Mine has a monostay but not the integrated seatpost clamp.

    My frame currently has a thick powdercoat (courtesy of a previous owner) but that'll probably change now. Looks like I need to track down some Stronlight Delta bits!

    @HACHA

    Wow, seeing your post (nice collection :) ) cleared up what the make of my frames is! I have owned it for years, never was able to find out what it was despite its characteristic details.

    Thanks!!

    This is it (very old build), same dropouts and similar Columbus Air like tubing.

    Do you know anything about the brand that you could share?

    What a let down, open mould Look frames. Not a surprise after that steel China urban fixie thing they already did. Still this must have hurt their pride a little.

    Guess they had to :/ Shame really.
