Lovely build. I have the same frame and I think you've inspired me to get some deep rims. What are those cages?
Apart from the gold chain I really like that.
Ha, I almost forgot about that place. I was with a group and we have to wait for everyone to turn up so we must have been there for about 3 hours. Strange place but really nice. Definitely worth a stop if you're nearby I'd say. The food was good.
Don't know if this helps but here is the route I did from Penrith to Peebles connect.garmin.com/activity/581962910. This was by far the best day for me and I probably the best riding I've ever done in the UK. The scenery after crossing the border was incredible and the road (I think it was the B709) is great fun and really varied.
Apologies if this has been asked a million times but can anyone recommend an insurer for bikes? I tried Hiscox but they won't cover me as I'm under 30 and they don't cover the post code I live in.
cheers guys, Saint Jean looks like a good spot.
Anyone here know the French Alps well? Looking to spend a week riding there late August and need a base. Last October we stayed in bourg d'oisans and that was great as there were so many cols close by and the riding was fantastic. Can anyone recommend somewhere similar that's a tad bigger than Bourg perhaps? Cheers.
Personally I always give it 10 days before I get back on the bike and do a 'proper ride'. I don't think sweat should be too much of an issue so sure you'll be fine if you allow a bit of a gap.
I had an online one the other day but the woman there let me use it in store.
