I swapped to a Panaracer 27.5 x 2.0" for extra clearance, fine for road and hard pack trails and paths but for more mixed terrain I plan on removing PDW guards and just using a beaver tail mtb rear guard and a little crud catcher mylar front guard.

Me and my brother and my two cousins are planning on doing the 2016 event, my cousin did it solo last year and was a broken man afterwards!

Yeah @golgol, she's getting a fair but of use. Planning a 90 mile round trip the Glenshee ski centre in February once the days are a bit longer.

CDF has gone full winter mode now with cheap Schwable studded tyres from PlanetX.
Faster than driving over my 10 mile commute when you take into account that everyone else cannot drive!
