The usual 26" for touring train of thought is that in obscure parks of the world, 26" (being well established for a long time) would be more readily available.
If you are planning on touring the globe, i would suggest getting a bike/ frame specific to the needs you want.

If you are planning on touring in more developed parts of the world, just ride it 700c/ 29" and you should be able to get spares (29ers are now so mainstream they have been outdated with 27.5")

Just make sure you fit some tried and tested tyres and tubes for longevity/ grip/ p_nct_re resistance. (also take a few spare spokes, easily taped to the chainstays)

My roadbike needs a little TLC on the drivetrain.
Wheels, cassette and chain are all reletively new, but i need a new F mech and want to upgrade to a semi compact (52/36) crankset.

Cranks nearly all seem to be 11 speed specific, but i am running a 9 block out back.
Don't want to upgrade the full GS, will a 11sp cranks work fine with my existing chain/ cassette?

Similar issues with front mechs, they seem to be 10 or 11, guess a 10 would be better suited to a 9 speed setup.

Should I switch to 10sp chain too?

Thanks fixed gear and single speed forumites!

Boom! comics seem to be having a Kurt Russell obsession.
Not happy with the Big Trouble in Little China sequel (which is great) they have done a Escape from New York sequel.
Read issues 1&2 and it seems pretty good.

MMccarthy, i has a vita. Not sure if it would be my sole console of choice.
I was an early adopter and a playstation fanboi. Most of the games ive played are Boomerang rentals or PS+ freebies. Not payed for manym

Depending on your gaming preferences, wipeout is good, killzone is good, Motorstorm RC is great fun (a bit micromachines from yore), if youve not played TellTales Walking Dead they are fantastic.
You can get game + memory card bundles which are a good deal.

Also you can use it to remote play ps4 games. Which is brilliant.
