i'm happy to pay £50 if they do a good job, and the recommendation came from a guy with a multi-pivoted full suspension frame who says they're excellent at masking stuff. cheers though - i'll consider the bissell street place.

Dont pay £50, you can do better than that! Calling about the most expensive place was £45.
The place on Bissell street does it for £15-20 (I forget) They do an excellent job stripping & coating, theyll also redo the job for free if your not satisfied. The only issue is that most of these workshops arent great at masking threads. But your £50 place will be the same.

Nah its not the one in erdington, but try em out. Many are very used to doing either motorcycle or bicycle frames. They are generally quite cheap in birmingham. Mine was £15 (mightve gone up to £20)
Ask around your local places, its fun to develop realtionships with your local industry.
