  • of course dude, thats what they are there for!

  • I am a big fan of solo polo!!! < hosed.

  • Not solo polo, as such, but solo team polo:

1 v 2. The 1 can touch the ball as many times as they like, but the 2 can only touch the ball twice. If this is too hard, go to three touch.

    1. Score a goal, pick up the ball (or rebound), ride towards the center point, make an as tight as possible 180 turn (or add another 360), try to score again, make another circle on the center point but with the ball on your off side. Repeat till your sick of it. (hope this explanation makes any sense)
  • I do something like that but instead of going round the centre I try to stick to the walls, clockwise with the ball on either side then anti clock. Also varying the angle of attack from down the middle all the way to from behind the goal...

  • Just got my own polo setup so want to practice a dew of these but unsure of some terms.

Non euro cheater style: is this cupping the ball with hollow end of the mallet head?

Hockey dribbles where your wrist turns through 180 and the ball moves left to right. Repeat on the off-side.

not sure what is meant by hockey dribble.

    can anyone shed some light

Nope. Cupping the ball with the open end is a ball joint.

A cheater mallet is when you have massive cutouts on the flat side of the mallet (the side where you use to shuffle the ball) which would allow you to control the ball much easier. These are now banned.

You shift the ball from left to right and hence your wrist would turn 180.

Something like this (but single handed):

    1. hitting the ball at a wall square-like so that it returns to you, ideally without pedaling.
