  • Do people listen to this here?

Has this forum actually ever been featured on it?
(I'd quite like to hear Velocio interviewed on it)

  • He did a feature on polo IIRC, it was in a thread somewhere.

  • I used to. I thought the station went off air ages ago and after that I never really listened again.

  • Still listen to the podcast weekly. Very calming usually.

  • Actually just read an intro from Jack in the Rouleur Annual. I think he's on here.

  • never heard of it.

    what frequency and when ?

  • Jack's on here as JackT. He doesn't post much, though.

  • 104.4

    thanks.

  • Great show, really varied subject matter. LFGSS has def been mentioned a couple of times and one or two forumengers have co-presented. I'm addicted to the 'Best of Cycle Writing' episode where someone reads a passage 'Tomorrow we Ride' by Jean Bobet. Beautiful stuff. Do have the bad habit of forcing it on my non-cycling friends when I'm drunk though

  • excellent podcast. An excellent reading at the end of each episode recently "need for the bike" or something..

  • I featured on there alongside Bogue on Monday 11th discussing cycle related injuries. See my Physiotherapy thread on here for more info. The podcast is available at:

Coming up soon apparently. Jack has asked, but Christmas and re-scheduling intervened so it was delayed... but perhaps the end of this month will see it happening.

Of course, all I'm going to do is say "Win!" and that's it. Oh, and UTFS. What else is there to say?

  • Htfu

  • utfb!

i tried to subscribe via itunes to the podcast this morning but it would not work, has anyone else had problems?

  • Admit James, Apple hate you too. So, that's drivers, policemen, the world at large, and now Apple.

agreed - and as for forcing cycling related chat for/on unsuspecting friends, couldnt stop banging on about my new waterproof sealskinz and time over shoes last night so I'm definitely aboard that sinking ship

great news. (plug it hard when it happens)

I wondering what his listening figures are? I hope their healthy, I'd love to see it really succeed as a podcast, bit like beats in space or something.

  • Am I a bad person if I enjoy the Bike Show but admit to finding the irreverent One Life Left more entertaining?

  • Velocio will be a guest on the show on Monday 25th Jan, talking about the Forum. Yes, it's been a while coming...

@Brun: I like to think of One Life Left as the 'after party' for The Bike Show: infinitely more entertaining and exciting.

@dancing_james: Some people have reported problems with iTunes. I have no idea what's going on. Inside iTunes try "Advanced | Subscribe to Podcast" and enter the following:

    feeds2.feedburner.com/thebikeshow

For those who are interested in audience for the podcast, downloads run at about 5,000 per episode, though this varies somewhat week to week. Resonance FM's monthly audience on the FM is about 160,000 and about 40,000 on the web stream.

  • iTunes seems to be downloading it OK for me now, I pressed the subscribe button: does that mean it'll download each new one as it appears, as it's just done the current one.

  • I'm feeling achey just listening to the Yoga instructor and Physio!

  • should do that yeah

  • Ended with 16 tons by Tom Jones ... gahhh I saw that in a red cross recently, shoulda had it! It's a great song, I sing it to my boy often.

  • This week, Bike Fit with Scherrit Knoesen of The Bike Whisperer (and the forum, yes?).

Next week's season finale will see Velocio spilling the beans on LFGSS.

  • Yeah, he's on here a bit.. when his right-hand-only mouse works..
