  • ^^ spatrbarz?

  • The shortest reach bars I know are Ritchey Curve at 73mm reach

Deda RHM bars are around 75mm
    Salsa are around 76mm
    3t Ergonova is about 77mm
    Spatrbarz are around 85mm

  • My gf is potentially going to buy a Cinelli bolt full build... it's a 53 I'm a little unsure whether it is too big for her... the current rider is 5'11 and my gf is 5'6

  • Is that the 53 top tube? My mash was a 55!

  • Has anyone tried fitting a pair of the SKS Long Raceblades to wheels with threaded axles, i.e. track hubs?

  • Is that the 53 top tube? My mash was a 55!

I'm not sure... It's the one on the leeds page now. It's a medium...

  • seat tube is 57cm centre to top. Doubt it will fit Anna, maybe though with little seatpost.

Measure the charge and see what the bb - saddle rail measures.

she could always give it a test ride no?

  • Yeah I was thinking that too... It looks so small though haha. Deceiving! It would be a much better thing to rid then the charge hob shes got right now...

  • She's riding singlespeed though right? Is the mash drilled, front or rear?

  • She's riding singlespeed though right? Is the mash drilled, front or rear?

Yeah she's riding single speed but wants to go fixed, It's pre drilled for a break on the front.

  • It'll just work as a better 'get about' bike then the hob, rides around eccup etc, she's gonna look at getting a road bike soon too so i'm not sure whether the sizing being a little bit too big would make a huge difference? what do you think man?

Remember, the MASH geo mean the 53cm TT is realistically 55-56cm TT if you were to set the saddle at a decent distance from the bottom bracket (medium got a ridiculously steep 76 degree ST).

  • What happens when you crash your brakeless bike in to a ped or car, then the police have to get involved because of the accident?

I know what legally should happen but have any of you guys been charged for riding with no brakes?

  • You could avoid the dilemma by fitting a brake.

  • Indeed, Although that is the correct answer to a completely different question.

  • Thanks guys, think I will go for the PRO LT as they are only £17 from parker

  • Bid snipers on eBay. Do they only bid when you've said, or do they lay an early bid then keep bidding up to your maximum at the allocated time?

  • Basically some bell end is trying to make me pay more for a set of wheels on purpose, he doesn't want them, and nobody has bid on them with 2 hours to go. I want to snipe with 5 seconds to go, but I don't want it to place any sort of bid until 5 seconds.

  • Just do that, bid the max you are prepared to pay, if you win, you win.

  • In my experience of sniping software it only bids when you tell it too, i.e. you set the time when you want to bid, so in your case 5 seconds before the end of the auction.

  • Thanks, just what I needed.

  • they do it in the last 5 seconds

I have won many by a few pence because of these, gixen is a good one

  • DIY ftw. The excitement is outrageous!

Dude, I'm 5'9" and I ride a 50. Whilst I'm a bit T-rexy in terms of fit, I don't think that size increase sounds too clever like.
