  • I'll re-jig the drop down contents once I'm sure that the new nav is going to stay the way it is.

  • Or in about an hour's time.

    Whichever is sooner.

  • "Photos" seems a bit pointless. Does anyone ever use it?

  • It's the navigation... if it's not in there someone, no-one could use it.

  • That'd save you some bandwidth costs. I see a plan forming...

  • Where is the button "view new post" after the make-over? Found it wuuuuhuu

  • Aside from 2cm below this post this very instant... it's under the Posts drop down, because you want to View new posts.

  • baby blue lfgss <3

  • The Current Projects forum doesn't show up on the Forums drop-down. It didn't in the last banner either, but I thought now might as well be the time to point it out.

Looks nice though! The blue font is nice, matches the grey.

    Fixed now.

Removed a couple of the links, added a couple of links.

Also moved photos under Misc, and popped out Donate onto the end.

Also added Subscribed Threads to the bottom of a thread view page and the search results.

  • Oh, and inserted a horizontal rule above Mark All Read so that you've got to be incredibly fat fingered to press it by accident.

  • this works well on my mac (safari) doubtless I'll have more fun playing from my phone later.

  • Like.

  • New look, same weapons.

  • Fixed now.

Noticed when clicking on 'Track' from the new nav bar it doesn't take you there.
It takes you to some regional Dublin forum instead.

  • Fixed, thanks for letting me know.

Turned out to be a typo in the forumId when I wrote it.

  • The Misc/Meaningless and Forum Testing/Help sections don't appear in the Forum drop down menu. Is that deliberate?

  • It's deliberate.

I'm limiting that menu (and any menu) to 10 items. Any more and they wouldn't be viewable on some mobile devices.

So the question was: What forums are more on-topic, or busy, such that those should be included and others bumped out.

Help and Announcements didn't meet any business criteria, and miscellaneous was off-topic for the site. Travel was also removed based on business.

So those were bumped, and freestyle & tricks, track, ladies and current projects were included.

  • love the dropdowns - not being able to navigate to 1/4 of the forums from the top nav was starting to drive me mad..

  • I like it a lot.

Is there any way of making drop downs configurable?
Polo, freestyle, Ladies don't mean much to me, but there are others I'd have in there place for personal preference. Likewise, whatever I'd specify if likely to be wrong for other people.

  • much better functionality on a basic mobile, thanks.
also very much liking Subscribed Threads added alongside New Posts at the bottom, saves mad scrolling back up / go back to bookmarks when I'm on phone.

Not in this version, but it's something I'll bear in mind for the next.

  • New stuff is good. I like it.

  • Blimey, only just noticed this.

Where's the "Mark All Read" button?
